The Range Rover Evoque 5-Door gets an official reveal
As is the way with the Interweb, stuff leaks out in to the big wide world. Something Land Rover found at the Paris Motor Show this year when they brought along a Range Rover Evoque 5 door to show off on the quiet. They had no intention of showing it at Paris – it was supposed to be, and still will be, the Land Rover star for the Los Angeles Show this month.

As the first project done under Peter Horbury since his return to Volvo, and new owner Geely the car marks a departure from current design languages and returns to simple Scandinavian design. Mercedes' latest concept car is, in its own words, 'pure, rendered science fiction'. This is the new Ener-G-Force, a one-off model depicting a civilian version of a futuristic police car. It's a product of the 2012 Los Angeles Design Challenge, which briefed manufacturers to dream up their vision for a highway patrol vehicle fit for the year 2025.
